Armed with her camera, lenses and an open mind, Simone photographs life as she sees it. From the beautiful Parisian balconies to her cat Pip sprawled out on the couch. With an eye for detail and the talent to document moments and emotions in a photograph, she shoots most of her photos for That Sunday Feeling in the loft above her garage.
Ideas come to her whilst showering or in the middle of the night. With a single word, vibe or vague idea as a starting point, Cathelijne uses her talent for writing and concepting to create the articles for That Sunday Feeling. Countless Pinterest boards, to-do-lists and late night conversations with Simone are part of her blogging routine.
Transforming everyday routines
into meaningful moments
That Sunday Feeling
Sunlight is peaking through the curtains, shining a warm light on your face. You yawn, you stretch, you wake up slowly. And with your eyes still closed you realize.. it’s Sunday morning. Do you get that excited feeling in your body? That giddy feeling of the unknown, the potential that this beautiful day has to offer. What if you could feel like that, not only on a Sunday morning, but everyday, every moment. What if we tell you, ‘you can, if you choose to’.
Some of us are always running. Running through life, from one appointment to the next. Others are stuck in a rut with a mondaine routine of day-to-day life. We can go through life eating breakfast, going to work, driving a car, talking to friends without being fully there. Without feeling alive, without noticing what’s going on around us and being aware of the beauty that is in everyday moments. It’s easy to live on autopilot, yet it’s definitely more fun being alive, choosing to feel, to be more aware, to celebrate life.
This blog is made especially for you. For you, wanting to be present in the now. For you, wanting to not just live for those rare moments during the weekend. These blogposts are our story to a more fulfilling and meaningful life. We aim to inspire you to slow down and appreciate daily rituals. That Sunday Feeling transforms everyday routines into meaningful moments.
Every Sunday morning a freshly made blogpost is ready and waiting to be read by you! Our goal is to inspire you, make you think, create a happy and calm moment at the beginning of every week.
